Alert today - Alive tomorrow - Road Safety and Security

Alert today - Alive tomorrow - Road Safety and Security while driving is mandatory for every commuter especially for the Youth. In order to create awareness among the Youth, the Telangana Police Department in association with Geethanjali College of Engineering & Technology is conducting a Road Safety Awareness programme by conducting two Events.

1. A 3 Km Run on 20th January, 2017
2. Essay Writing competition on 19th Jan, 2017.

• Students participating in 3 Km Run should come in T shirts.
• They should reach the spot by 6.30 a.m.
• College transport will be provided for all the participants.
• Certificates & Refreshments will be provided for the participants after the Event.
• 3k Run from Vardhaman School to Cheeryal Village
• Attendance for January 20, 2017 will be provided for all participants on producing the participation certificate.

• The Essay writing competition on Road Safety is scheduled on 19th Jan, 2017. The topic for competition will be displayed in the Notice Board on 18th Jan, by 12.00 noon.
• For all First year B.Tech students, the event will be held from 12.00 - 12.40p.m. For 2nd, 3rd, 4th  year students, the event will be held from 1.00 - 1.30p.m. in S & H Seminar hall Block 2.
• The length of the essay should not exceed 500 words and in English language only.
• The first three winners will be awarded by the Commissioner of Police in a special function.
• Students are informed to participate in large number.
